A warning for the future
After a serious analysis, ORGDH members made a prediction that expresses profound concern: if displacement, insecurity, loss of opportunity, and the erosion of Haitian belonging continue, then within 50 years Kiskeya—commonly called Haiti—may no longer have Haitians living on the land; and 100 years later, it may be possible that no one on Earth identifies themselves by saying, “I am Haitian.”
This is a prediction and a call for reflection—not an established fact. It expresses concern about the long-term survival, presence, identity, and dignity of the Haitian people.
