Information we collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide, including contact details, location, language, role, registrations, proposals, support requests and messages. We also receive basic technical information needed to operate and secure the site.
How ORGDH uses information
We use information to review applications, verify representation, organize event access, respond to messages, coordinate support, protect the platform, prevent duplicate referendum responses and send necessary updates.
Community referendums
Individual choices are private. Only combined Yes and No totals are public. A one-way coded identifier prevents the same authenticated account from answering a question more than once. Public results do not show names, email addresses or individual voting history.
Sharing and independence
ORGDH does not sell personal information. It is shared only with authorized providers and event personnel who need it, when required by law, or to protect participants and the platform. Donors, sponsors, political actors and speakers cannot access private referendum choices.
Security and retention
ORGDH uses reasonable safeguards. No online system can promise absolute security. Information is retained only as reasonably necessary, then deleted or de-identified when appropriate.
Your choices
You may ask ORGDH to review, correct or delete personal information, subject to legal, security and recordkeeping requirements, and may withdraw from nonessential communications.
Contact
Submit privacy requests through the ORGDH contact page with the subject “Privacy Request.”
Reference contacts and identification documents
Worker applications require a profile photo, an official identification document and two reference contacts. Identification documents and reference contact details are private and available only to authorized ORGDH reviewers for verification. They are not published in the community directory or shared with other volunteers.
Volunteer and speaker profiles are private and accessible only to authorized ORGDH administrators. They are not displayed in a public directory.
